The common denominator is that the Associated Minority Contractors of Arizona (AMCA) has been instrumental in 
facilitating business opportunities for our members on these projects and others throughout the state of Arizona.

These opportunities did not happen by chance, they came to fruition due to a grassroots advocacy efforts of the Founders 
of the AMCA. The AMCA is the principal trade association in Arizona representing and advocating on behalf of all Minority, 
Women, Small, Veteran, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. We are the voice for our community and instrumental 
in working with State, County, and City Governmental Procurement Contracting Agencies as well as Major General 
Contractors to ensure that all diverse contractors have the opportunity to participate in public and private financed 
contracting opportunities.

We realize that Advocacy is hard and takes time, but we are up for the challenge – are you? There are many ways that you 
can participate. Become an active AMCA Member and join a collaborative group who is committed to advocating for the 
best interest of all disadvantaged businesses.

Join a committee, sponsor an event, or volunteer to make an impact in our community.

Advocacy is the greatest tool we have to protect the interest of our community, open those doors to help you grow your 
business, and ensure the inclusion of disadvantaged businesses on statewide projects.
